Online Affiliate Marketing

In addition to pay per click ads, and selling ad space on your blog, another way to make money from blogging is the sale of products through affiliate programs like the one I like, Amazon. Amazon has a huge, I mean huge, did I say how big it was? Collection of products you can link to and sell through a partnership arrangement between you and Amazon.

I am personally very fond of their A-Store concept which allows you to build up to 100 stores, individually tailored to your own blog niche, and with the same or similar colors and page design as that of your blog.

I have several Amazon A-Stores, at least one for each of the blogs that I currently write. In fact, I just created a new one for this blog, and it's called, The Make Money Blogging Bookstore Kind of a catchy imaginative name.....ha! Ok, so it isn't Barnes and Noble, but it is a lot of interesting books about blogging, affiliate marketing, website design, and Adsense advertising for bloggers and website developers.

To date, Amazon hasn't become my top income producer, but it should be, because they do have some great products at reasonable prices, and they are well established in the online marketplace.

As I mentioned, in addition to linking to specific products, or posting a product review which I do occasionally, I find the A-Store concept the one I like the best. I think it is purely because of the ease of creating a store and the fun of finding products to display in it. I spend hours browsing the product categories finding items that I think would be of interest to my readers. Typically, the ones I pick are items that hold an interest for me, or at least look like something I might want to read or own.

If you are looking for an easy entry into online sales, and have a little time and patience for the set up, you need to try an A-Store or two..or three....
