List Of Blogger Salaries

Over the last few years as blogging has really become a force to be reckoned with, people have discovered that there is money to be made from these things called blogs. In some cases lots of money....

But how much is lots of money and who makes it? Well a list of highly paid blog authors is quite short, but the amount of money they make is quite high, more than high, downright friggin' spectacular is more like it. However, many of the most successful bloggers are running lots of online ventures including websites that have various income streams. Still and all, I think careful inspection would show that even among those webmasters, webmistress's and bloggers, ad revenue, and in particular Adsense, accounts for the bulk of their income.

Until very recently it was against Adsense policies for bloggers to reveal exactly how much they make from Adsense. I don't think they are crazy about us revealing it now, but they seem to have let up a little. Probably because it is great advertising for Google and for Adsense when we read how much some folks are actually making from their contextual ad program. Some are making thousands of dollars a month...a month...even in some cases, per day. Sure makes you want to start a blog and get posting doesn't it.

I came across a great post about bloggers making money from their blog efforts over at Paula Neal Mooney It doesn't take too long reading this list to see that there are a few making a lot. (There are also a lot making a little)

However, our goal here at Make Money Blogging is to be on that list, you and me so i suggest you go on over to Paula's site and have a look at the list, visit some of the sites of the folks making the real big money and even some of the lower earners and find out where you fit. Pay close attention to the top earner's. We need to know what it is they do that we don't. I suppose in the same breath it is a good idea to look at the lower earners as well to see what they are doing. One thing about knowing what folks are earning, it helps to verify some of the things we talk about here, like ad placement, colors and so on.

I know I am planning on spending some time over there myself, reading the blogs of the folks on the list. I know that at least in a couple of cases, I am making more myself which isn't saying much. My earnings have grown over the past year or two, but I am not ready to quit my day job just yet.

Enough jabbering, go on and read about the folks making money from their blogs ! Then get going, I want to see your name on the list! (right below mine LOL) just kidding.
