Make Money Blogging

Welcome to my blog. Like so many other blogs and websites this is about making money with blogs and websites....in particular this is about my experiences making money on the internet. At the time of this writing, I am the author of something in the area of 40 blogs, which keeps me pretty busy. Along the way I have learned quite a bit about what works and what doesn't. I hope my experiences help you.

Posting Frequency How Much Is Enough?

How often should you post in order to maximize your Adsense earnings? I can probaly answer that with one phrase. "All the time"

However, that really isn't a very good answer, and it can mean a lot of things to different people.

Posting frequency is important for a couple of reasons, but mainly it helps a great deal in your quest for loads of traffic. Of course we all know that loads of traffic means loads of money.

I believe you should post good content regularly. That means if possible, everyday. Most of the top bloggers are posting everyday or every other day, particularly if you want to build up regular readers who keep coming back to your site. Let your posting slide for a little while and you will see your traffic counts slide down as well and quickly.

One of my blogs was good for about 250 hits a day, not a lot, but on average a pretty good number. I was posting everyday or almost everyday. Then I got sick and couldn't post...maybe got sick because I was up all night writing blogs...lol

However, as soon as my posting frequency dropped so did my hits, until now, about a month later, I am only getting about 50 hits per day. Not good.

So that is important to recognize and deal with. It is one of the reasons why these Made For Adsense packages that you can buy are usually not much good. You know the ones I mean. They offer you 150 websites, and the content to go with them and suggest that even if you can get $1.00 a day ad revenue from each one you will make money. While that is true, getting a dollar a day may not be that easy, especially if you are not updating everyday. You need a good amount of traffic for that and that means you need loads of fresh content.

Set yourself a regular schedule and stick to it, try for as many days per week as possible and make each post worthwhile...tall orders huh?
